Learning while we travel

Do they keep learning when the whole family goes on trips?  Yes they do, and more!

We travelled for a month and visited grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, played in the snow, had deep conversations during car rides, did new things everyday, and spent lots and lots of quality time together as a family.

We visited the Discovery Center in Livermore.

We crossed the Bay Bridge in San Francisco which led to an awesome conversation on how suspension bridges work.

And the highlight is being given a private tour of how high quality sunglasses are made at Wiley X!

They also learned how an email that was sent from Aunt Karen’s computer was received on their Daddy’s phone.  They learned how computer networks work.

They watched the birds and enjoyed the beauty of nature in South Lake Tahoe.

They learn more when we travel and our homeschool lifestyle enables us to travel whenever we want to and wherever we want to.
