We make learning poetry by having a party. A Poetry Tea Party where we prepare juice, herbal tea or coffee for the adults. We also prepare snacks and treats such as marshmallows, cookies, crackers, miniature cakes, etc. We then spread a variety of poetry books and take turn picking a book and reading it out loud for everyone to hear.
Some days we take our Poetry Tea Party to the cafe.
